Persona 5: Unchained is an evolving tabletop-style RPG built on the core style and themes of Persona 5 Royal. The game uses a custom AI Dungeon Master to respond dynamically to your decisions, adapt to your narrative choices, and guide a highly replayable, open-ended story. You can play as Joker (Akira/Ren), a custom protagonist, or one of several original characters.

Set primarily in Tokyo—with areas like Shinjuku already playable—you’ll navigate the real world and the Metaverse at your own pace. While light scaffolding is in place for following the original Persona plot, you're never required to do so. This experience is unbound, allowing you to forge your own path and story.

Combat, exploration, and social simulation systems are being expanded with each update. Metaverse locations and Shadows are currently limited but growing, and the underlying framework is flexible enough to support deep improvisation and custom storytelling.

How It Works
The AI Dungeon Master, Franz, manages world logic, character interactions, and narrative pacing. Franz can be customized through the Narrative Guide, letting you shape how he responds, how challenges are framed, and how the world reacts to your decisions. Whether you prefer structured progression or emergent roleplay, Franz adapts.
